| Are you a healthy pregnant woman who would like to improve your diet during your pregnancy?If so and you are currently at 28 weeks of gestation or less; 25 years of age or older; planning to deliver your baby at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA; and motivated to improve your nutrition during pregnancy, then you may qualify to participate in the Nutrition During Pregnancy Study. The purpose of the study is to determine the effects of two healthy diets on your baby’s birth weight and your weight gain during pregnancy. Participation involves regular visits over the course of your pregnancy, individual dietary counseling sessions with a registered dietitian, and a selection of foods delivered to your home each month. No medications or complicated procedures are involved. You can be compensated up to $500 and receive parking vouchers for study visits for taking part in this study being conducted at Children's Hospital Boston and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
